Sometimes a good quote from mom is the best way to remedy a potential PR crisis.
We can all learn something from Michael Beasley’s mother who addressed questions about her son’s character and his penchant for practical jokes.
Beasley was chosen No. 2 overall in last week's NBA draft by the Miami Heat. Some suggest that "character issues" prevented him from being chosen first overall. We should use this quote as part of media training in the future.
''When he was little, he grew up in a house where we all played practical jokes on one another, so he gets that side of himself from me,'' Smith said Friday. ``So when the questions about his past came up, it didn't affect me because I know my child. I have a thick skin. I'm going to play pranks on my kids until I'm buried. And then, I might come back and do it again.''

lol haha i think its just funny when she keeps telling all of these lies like she is. first of all she was never home to see if he was joking around and secondly he was always in trouble in school and with police so i just cant wait to hear or read what she has to lie about next lol im sorry its just funny to me thats all from somebody that knows her personally
